Editorial policy

Dates, venues, formats and cost status come from the organiser's own published information. Where something is not published, we show "Not confirmed" rather than a guess. Every event page shows the date we last checked it.

Badges are earned for a specific edition and have a recorded reason and date:

• BADGED pick — our team would genuinely recommend this edition, for a stated reason.
• First-hand — someone from BADGED attended this edition.
• Checked by BADGED — date, location, price and booking link were checked against the official event source. BADGED has not attended this edition.
• Free if you qualify — free access depends on the organiser’s eligibility rules.
• Application required or Invite only — access is controlled by the organiser.
• Promoted — money or another benefit influenced placement.

We do not add a BADGED pick or First-hand badge unless the evidence supports it. Public-source research is never presented as attendance.

"Best for", "Worth it if" and "Think twice if" are editorial judgment, written by a person and kept visibly separate from the facts. We do not publish scores, star ratings or invented popularity claims.

Some organiser links are tracked, and a small number may pay a commission or supply a promo code. Any such link is disclosed on the event page. Payment never buys inclusion, a better write-up or a higher position.

We record outbound clicks so we can tell organisers how much interest we sent them. A click is an intent to look, not a registration or a ticket sale, and we never describe it as one.

If something is wrong — yours or ours — tell us. We will check it and correct or remove it. Organisers can ask for their listing to be updated at any time.
