When you continue to an organiser we ask for your first name and email address, and we record which event you were heading to, the date and time, and the source, campaign, referrer and device type of your visit. We store one record per email address.

If you submit an event, we store the details you enter on that form, including your work email.

The Signal List is optional. The consent box is never pre-ticked, and its wording is: "Send me The Signal List — BADGED's recommendations and reviews by email." We store whether you consented, when, where you did it and the exact wording you were shown. You can unsubscribe at any time, and doing so does not affect anything else.

Optional analytics help us understand how BADGED is used. If you accept analytics, we use PostHog to send page and interaction events with campaign and device information. We do not send your email address as an analytics property, and session recording is disabled.

We save your analytics choice on this device. You can reject analytics without losing any BADGED features, and you can change your choice at any time.

BADGED uses separate essential product storage for features you ask for. This includes keeping your anonymous Compare shortlist on this device and remembering recognised-user, calendar-follow and sign-in state. These features continue to work when analytics are rejected.

We keep lead records for as long as BADGED is operating and you have not asked us to remove them. To see, correct or delete what we hold, use our contact and data-rights form.

BADGED is an independent guide. We are not the organiser of any event listed and we do not sell tickets. Prices, dates and venues can change after we verify them — always confirm on the organiser's own page before booking or travelling. Some links are tracked and a few may earn us a commission; this never changes what we write.
